The Paper

The Harvey Mail has a circulation of 1350 and is letterbox delivered fortnightly to every home and business in Harvey as well as posted to local farmers. It is also bulk-drop delivered to Yarloop.

The Market

Harvey is a rural community located in the booming southwest of Western Australia mid-way between the cities of Mandurah and Bunbury. Agriculture is the major industry and includes beef and dairy farming and citrus growing with wine and table grapes now important crops in the area. Surrounding terrain is flat making irrigation viable enabling much of the land to remain productive even through hot dry summers. A number of dams up in the hills around Harvey are a mecca for water skiers in the summer. The town has five primary schools, a senior high school, agricultural college, hospital, public swimming pool and a large sports oval. Harvey provides a social and service centre for local farmers and has a vibrant commercial district.
